NHØP or the great Danish base-player, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen died April 2005 way too young in an age of merely 58 years-old.
Sony decided to publish a double memento CD consisting of 34 beautiful versions of NHØPs recordings. They contacted me and asked me to paint the cover to the CD NHØP - Friends Forever.
I was extremely happy to be offered the assignment and tried very hard finding the right tone for the painting which would swing harmoniously with NHØP?s wonderful music. To my delight Sony used my painting for the entire cover ? now making it possible to retrieve a Per Hillo painting to the CD collection!!
